PROCEDURE:
Combine
Phase A with mixing and heat to 75°C.
Combine Phase B and heat to 75°C with mixing. Remove heat and add Phase B to Phase A and
mix with propeller blade mixing until uniform.
Combine Phase C and mix by hand.
Prepare Phase D by dissolving the parabens in
the propylene glycol with gentle heat if necessary. Allow Phase D to cool and add to Phase
C. Allow Phase AB to cool to 40°C and
add Phase CD to Phase AB with continued propeller blade mixing. When the batch cools to room temperature,
adjust the pH to 6.5 with Triethanolamine. Add fragrance if desired.
