PROCEDURE:
Dissolve NaEDTA
in warm water (approx 50degC). Add in carbomer and let mix under prop blade for 5 minutes. Disperse Acrylates
/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer
and then let mix under prop blade for 15 minutes. Add propylene glycol and heat phase A to 70
deg C. Add approximately 15% of the
Sodium Hydroxide to phase A to neutralize. Combine components of phase B and heat with
mixing to approximately 80 deg C. Add
phase B to phase A with mixing. Add Sweet Almond Oil and PEG-8 Dimethicone. Add
the Corn Starch and then the remaining Sodium Hydroxide Solution. Add the PPG-17/IPDI/DMPA Copolymer.
